I have been trying to think of who I would like my writing to be compared to. Like when someone puts down a story of mine and starts to say “you know, it really reminds me of…” but in my fantasy of a publisher actually loving my work, that sentence still remains un-ended. After reading your short story, I think I’d like it to be you. Really really awesome. It made me feel. And thats saying a lot.
Wow Sara. That is literally one of the nicest and most genuine things anyone has ever said to me. I really really appreciate that. And I wish the whole world was all, “Man, Sara is just SO right.” (especially publishers and short fiction magazine editors!)
Seriously though – thank you for reading – and especially for commenting. You made my day – and I’m working on novel revisions right now, so you know those days haven’t been all picnic-y.
